Make The Approach Work...

Know What To Say

Breaking The Ice: You Know What To Say

Although the idea of approaching someone for the first time may seem terrifying, it's really not as difficult as you might think. You don't have to be a poet or a writer to intrigue and attract someone. Simply say what's on your mind or in your heart. It is really important to be yourself. There is no perfect pick-up line. The best opener is whatever is real for you at the moment.
Know What To Say On Dates

•  Charm and sex appeal come from genuineness- being open, honest and yourself. Whatever is in your mind and heart will come out naturally and sincerely, and that's going to be far more appealing than some contrived statement.

•  Be the real you. If you pretend to be someone other than yourself and the other person ends up liking you, the relationship will be built on lies.

•  Share what you feel like excitement or shyness. If you're self-conscious, admit it, hiding make you come across as clumsy.

•  Don't worry about being rejected. Thinking about the outcome only makes you self-conscious, which can make you clumsy and awkward.

•  Use the person's name. That makes others feel noticed, acknowledged, special and compelled to pay attention to you. To remember the name, say it several times during the course of a conversation.

Reveal things about yourself, but also ask open-ended questions to learn about the other person.
